Let me make things clear. I’m not a person that likes to brag or make others jealous.
However, I feel that I’m responsible for setting things straight whenever I see misinformation on the internet. I’m only writing this article based on this comment below from Rashida Beal.
Obviously, I feel personally attacked, and it’s my duty to speak the truth.
Rashida is usually smart, but she still has a few things to learn. I know she will change her mind once she is finally enlightened after reading this article.
Alright, the class is in session. Here is why Texas is the BEST state in the United States.
Bigger Than Anyone
Texas is the biggest state in the continental United States, and it’s not even close. In case you didn’t read, I said, “continental.” In other words, Alaska doesn’t count.
Our Economy is Better Than Most Countries
Texas has the eighth-largest economy out of all the nations in the world. Who needs the other 49 states when we can handle our own business without the help of others?
We Are Home to America’s Team
How many sports teams do you know that are called “America’s Team”? I’m still waiting to hear an answer….One day the Eagles might catch up in Super Bowls, but it will be in the next century.
Best Mexican Food
Ever tried eating what they call “Mexican food” in northern states? It literally tastes like crap. We might all be obese in Texas, but we are happy!
No State Income Tax
Do you enjoy giving up half of your earnings to the government? I didn’t think so. Come to Texas, and you won’t have to worry about paying a state income tax.
Rich History
Texas has the best history, and that’s a fact. We were even our own country. No other state fought and won its independence. We will always remember the battle of the Alamo and San Jacinto.
I could keep going on….and on….and on. But I think you get the message.
I was tempted to label this article satire, but how can it be satire if everything is true?
